Meet Jesse McDonald, author of From Overwhelmed to In Control. Jesse served as an officer in the United States Navy after earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2008. Prior to that, her adventures include traveling to over 20 different countries for both word and school, working at Disneyland, and sailing on tall ships. She now runs a commercial photography business in Jacksonville, NC where she lives with her husband and daughter.
Her inspiration for this book came after years of working with women in various stages of life who were totally overwhelmed and didn't know what to do about it. She finally recognized that much of the stress they were experiencing, she had come through herself. "At the time, I didn't realize how stressed out I was! I just thought I had to work harder, be better, and get my head on straight. Now, I realize the effect that unknown stress had on me and how much of it was self-induced." After taking a hard look at he life in the cycle of stress, she decided to make some changes that have led to where she is today.
"It's my hope that the trial and error I did in my own life over the past seven years can help someone fast track to a less stressful, more fulfilled life. That's why I wrote this book. It's not lengthy. It's easy to read and straight to the point. "
